We have been working with the City of Coquitlam on a substantial project encompassing the Evergreen Line along North Road and Clarke Road.  We were commissioned to manufacture and install the North Star Gateway Feature, Pole Star Gateway Feature, Clarke Road Gateway Feature and Street Markers.

The Pole Star Gateway Feature was designed as a public art installation which compliments the North Star Gateway Feature and other streetscape elements along North Road and Clarke Road.

This feature is associated with the north-south alignment of North Road, as well as its history as a goods and people movement corridor.

The Clarke Road Gateway Feature was designed to highlight the theme of transportation along Clarke Road while illuminating the route with a dynamic LED light display as the SkyTrain goes by.

Throughout the day, the feature is illuminated with white LED lighting which highlights the intersecting streets.

Throughout the year, the North Star and Pole Star Gateway Features provide a LED light display which is programmed to highlight each season.  Winter features hues of blue and white, spring features hues of pink and purple, summer features hues of yellow and pink, and fall features hues of orange and white. The LED light display will also be programmed to highlight statutory holidays and special events.
